3.When using DC motor, please pay attention to the following:
Installation:The direction of the standard fastening shaft is to set it in the horizontal direction, changing the direction may lead to oil leakage, and may also change the load direction, which may affect the performance and life of the motor。
Machining of shafts:Do not machining the motor shaft without informing us. This may cause damage to the gear and destroy the cooperation between the gears.
Rotation of shaft (DC motor):When adjusting the installation direction, do not use hand to rotate the shaft, so that the gear box into acceleration instead of deceleration, and the DC motor into a generator.
Terminal welding:When welding the motor terminals, please use iron temperature at 350 ~ 400 degrees centigrade, 2-3 seconds. Excessive temperature or excessive time will damage the motor terminals and connecting parts, especially the metal brush motors.
Stall or overload:When the motor runs, the windings and iron will heat up, and this heat will increase gradually. Under normal load, the temperature can be balanced in the production and release, so the motor windings will not be burned. However, if the blockage and overload are often used and the temperature can not be balanced, it will slowly burn from the wear-resistant layer to the winding, resulting in the winding being burned.
Low speed operation:For the carbon brush motor, the carbon brush will gradually fall off and the carbon powder will be rubbed during the operation of the motor. Therefore, if the motor is running at a low speed, the toner will accumulate in the commutator slot, and the short circuit of the motor will be caused by the increase of the number. To avoid this, we use different processes and materials according to different motors and speeds. So the user tells us that the motor voltage is very important.
Noise solutions:When you have strict requirements for noise and electromagnetic interference, please inform us in advance. We have a way of dealing with these problems.
Inertia and solution:When the power is cut off and the motor will continue running for a few seconds, we call it the inertia of the motor. All DC motors have this inertia phenomenon. If you want to solve this problem, you only need to connect the motor "+" to "-", then this phenomenon will disappear. This is the use of electrical generator (reverse current), but this action will lead to a very high instantaneous current, usually the implementation of this operation will shorten the service life of the motor.
Life:According to different conditions and loads, the life of DC motor will be different. Therefore, the same motor will cause different life under different working conditions. So please let us know exactly what you're going to use, and we'll design the motors for them.
The following factors will affect the motor life: therefore, if you use the motor in this state, please inform us, we can discuss, and try to find a solution together.
Use torque greater than the rated torque
Frequent start and stop
Positive inversion operation is fast and frequent
Suddenly use large load, not rated load
Long time continuous operation
Forced shaft reverse operation
Frequent use of plugging
Use higher or lower rated voltage
